Bereavement Services

Our specialist team in the UK are here to help you through every step of the process for your client. They are always available to answer any questions that you have, so please get in touch.

Furthermore, we have a created a guide entitled 'What to do when a Shareholder passes away' which has been designed to help your client through some of the steps you need to take when dealing with the deceased's shareholdings. It explains what we, as registrar and/or nominee provider, need from you so that they can transfer or sell the shares and we can update the share register.

The Death Notification Service (www.deathnotificationservice.co.uk) is a free external service that you can use to tell us when someone dies. It’ll notify us, and any other participating organisation including banks and building societies where there is an account held, about the death. It’s quick and easy and you don’t need a death certificate to notify us, however you may need to provide one at a later date.
